Mission Statement

Hartford HealthCare is committed to support the interprofessional development and life-long learning of the entire healthcare team through evidence-based educational activities.  It is expected that these activities will result in advancement of the team’s clinical skills/strategies, improve performance, and drive patient outcomes.

 

Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

We are able to provide accredited education physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, athletics trainers, registered dietitians, and dietary and pharmacy technicians on a per activity basis.  All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation.  Consult your professional licensing board for information on the applicability and acceptance of certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
