The mission of the Cancer Research Department is to advance innovative and comprehensive cancer research that directly benefits our patients. Through close collaboration with the oncology teams at Hartford HealthCare (HHC), we continue to expand research opportunities and provide patients with access to cutting-edge clinical trials and emerging therapies alongside the standard of care. Join us as we welcome colleagues from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), along with HHC physicians and researchers, as they share their expertise and collective vision for the future of cancer care. Presentations will highlight advances in cancer research, clinical trials, translational science, and patient care innovation, while showcasing how collaboration between leading institutions drives discovery and improves patient outcomes. In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

1. Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 2.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

   • ABIM MOC: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 2.50 Medical Knowledge credits in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

   • ABS Continuous Certification: Successful completion of this CME activity, which may include participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn 2.50 credit toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 2.50 ANCC contact hours.

Pharmacists & Pharmacy Techs: This activity is approved for a maximum of 2.50 CPE contact hours. ACPE UAN: JA4008261-0000-25-091-L99-P and JA4008261-0000-25-091-L99-T.  Awarding of credit is based on completing an activity evaluation form.

All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for a maximum of 2.50 hours of education. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.

Maximum credit amount subject to change based on final activity schedule.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.

Hartford HealthCare reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
