Please Note: The main entrance to QU North Haven campus is closed on the weekend. All guests should enter through the Law school, which is located in the rear of the campus. No permits needed. Public Safety will be onsite to meet/greet and direct guests.

Our goal is to provide education to our primary care colleagues on the following topics: advances in interventional pain procedures, chronic pain management strategies, opioid alternatives and multimodal pain management, non-opioid pharmaceutical approaches, neuromodulation and new simulator indications, and multidisciplinary care models.

1. Review advances in interventional pain procedures
2. Apply chronic pain management strategies
3. Review opioid alternatives and multimodal pain management options
4. Identify non-opioid pharmaceutical approaches
5. List indications for neuromodulation and new simulators
6. Discuss how the multidisciplinary care model benefits pain management patients

• Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 
  • MOC for American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA): This activity offers up to 3.50 CME credits, of which 3.50 credits contribute the patient safety CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology^TM (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements.
  • MOC for American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM): Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 3.50 MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
  • MOC for American Board of Surgery (ABS): Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn 3.50 credits toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
• Psychologists: Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
• Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 3.50 ANCC contact hours.
• Pharmacists & Pharmacy Techs: This activity is approved for 3.50 CPE contact hours. ACPE UAN: JA4008261-0000-24-079-L08-P and JA4008261-0000-24-079-L08-T. Awarding of credit is based on completing an activity evaluation form.
• Social Workers: As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Hartford HealthCare is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Hartford HealthCare maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 3.50 clinical continuing education credits. 
  
• Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for 3.50 hours of education. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.

Hartford HealthCare reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
