Join us for an educational program on best practices for infection control and prevention!

1. Review basic terminologies and concepts of artificial intelligence as they pertain to infection prevention and control
2. Demonstrate a selection of uses of artificial intelligence in performance and support of infection prevention and control activities
3. Identify future artificial intelligence opportunities as part of reimagining the future state of healthcare, infection prevention, and enhanced health outcomes
4. Review principles of shift and drift as they apply to influenza
5. Describe the current state of avian flu infuenza surveillance
6. Apply effective infection prevention and control measures during a pandemic response

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (6.00 hours), ANCC Contact Hour(s) (6.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (credits designated as AMA PRA Category 1) (6.00 hours)

• Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

• Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 6.00 ANCC contact hours.

• All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for 6.00 hours of education. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.

Hartford HealthCare reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
