This class runs each Wednesday, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, beginning 09.10.25 and ending 01.07.25.

This introductory course, instructed by David Tolin, Ph.D., is free to BHN, IOL, and HHC staff and trainees who currently provide psychological therapy or counseling as part of their job or training role. This is an exceptional opportunity for interested staff/trainees to increase their familiarity with the theory and application of cognitive-behavioral therapy. This empirically validated treatment is widely used to treat anxiety, depression, and an array of other mental health issues.

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

• Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

• Psychologists: Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. This activity is designated for a maximum of 1.00 APA CEP credits. 
•  All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for a maximum of 1.00 hours of education. Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.
