Overview
Because current treatment recommendations are constantly evolving, endocrinologists need to remain abreast of the new therapeutic and pharmacologic interventions as well as changes in diagnostic modalities. This monthly educational session will provide endocrinologists with education on recommended care in order to assist providers in improving quality of care delivered with a focus on cost conscious care, improved patient outcomes, and patient safety.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Discuss current or controversial issues in endocrinology.
  2. Identify quality outcomes with emphasis on high value care and patient safety
  3. Identify questions and educational opportunities surrounding current endocrine issues and practice.
  4. Apply current evidence-based best practice when determining treatment for endocrinology patients.

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
  • Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this Live Activity activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
