Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Review the use of temporary and permanent pacing device modalities
  2. Apply current recommendations to treat VT and other cardiac arrhythmias
  3. Review current approaches of ablation of atrial fibrillation
  4. Identify ventricular tachycardia
  5. Discuss new technology to assist in the treatment of heart failure patients
  6. Review the use of left atrial appendage closure devices in the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation

  • Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 3.50 ANCC contact hours.
  • Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for 3.50 hours of education.  Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.
