Connecticut Orthopedic Institute Symposium (2023)

1. Identify tcommon orthopaedic conditions
2. Discuss of indications for intervention and the associated non-operative treatment alternatives
3. Review indications for operative treatment is indicated
4. Discuss post-injury or post-surgery rehabilitation needs, return to normal activity, and continuation of care between the orthopaedic specialist and the primary care provider
5. Choose appropriate intervention for specific orthopaedic conditions

This symposium will help to bridge a gap between the community and orthopedic specialists. It will allow opportunities for community members, students, PCPs to get an overview on multiple orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions including, hip and knee, sports medicine, shoulder and spine.

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to [email protected]hhchealth.org.
