Individuals must be fully vaccinated to attend this program.  Non-HHC participants must present proof of vaccination upon arrival.  At the specific request of APP leadership, there is no virtual option this year.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Review currently recommended guidelines when prescribing antibiotics, anticoagulants, and oral diabetes medications.
  2. Utilize conscious sedation safely and accurately
  3. Apply pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies to manage a patient with delirium
  4. Utilize chemotherapeutic agents safely and accurately
  5. Discuss a variety of topics important to the safe care of patients, including the importance of an accurate patient weight and value of a strong provider:pharmacist relationship
  6. Summarize current vaccination recommendations for adult patients
  7. Advise patients on options for weight management medications

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to [email protected]hhchealth.org.
