Hartford HealthCare employees may register at no cost only when using their Hartford HealthCare single sign-on (SSO) and HHC email address associated with their CloudCME account.

Accounts associated with non-HHC email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) will be charged a $25 registration fee.

Important: Participants should maintain one CloudCME account only. Creating a second account may result in delays or issues with attendance tracking and credit awarding.

Registration closes at 8am on day of activity.

This interactive session provides nurses and doulas with education and hands-on practice in labor positioning. Learners will explore different labor positions, the rationale for their use, and strategies for selecting positions based on the stage of labor.

1. Identify labor positions that may support progress during different stages of labor.
2. Apply appropriate labor-positioning strategies based on the stage of labor.

ANCC Contact Hour(s) (2.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (credits designated as AMA PRA Category 1) (2.00 hours)

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 2.00 ANCC contact hours.

All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for a maximum of 2.00 hours of education.  Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of credits certified by an organization accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

• HHC or the sponsoring organization reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify this activity
• If the activity is cancelled, registration fees will be fully refunded
• Neither HHC, HHC CE, not the Sponsoring Organization is responsible for travel, lodging, or other incurred expenses due to a cancelled activity
• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to HHC CE at [email protected]
• Approved refunds will be processed to the original form of payment within 30 days 

 Live (In Person or Virtual) Activity Cancellations

• Cancellations received at least 5 business days prior to the activity start date will receive a full refund
• Cancellations received less than 5 business days prior to the activity start date, or failure to attend the activity absent an illness or family emergency (no-show), are non-refundable 

 On-Demand / Enduring Activities

• Registration fees are non-refundable once access is granted
• Technical issues accessing an HHC CE activity must be reported to HHC CE @ [email protected]
• Do not contact the HHC IT Help Desk with activity access issues as this will create a delay in access
