3rd Annual New England Continuing Education Workshop

Fee: $30. 

All-day conference with breakout discussions and workshops for Continuing Education professionals. Will include a variety of topics that are important to current CE teams.

1. Apply proven strategies to support and document continuing education (CE) activities
2. Develop one active learning strategy that can be easily implemented into a CE activity
3. List strategies to support CE team in dealing with challenging customers.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (5.00 hours), ANCC Contact Hour(s) (5.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (credits designated as AMA PRA Category 1) (5.00 hours)

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

• Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
• All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for 5.00 hours of education.  Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.

Hartford HealthCare reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
