Overview
A celebrated forum for dissemination of nursing research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement throughout the state of Connecticut.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. List examples of practical applications for nursing research, evidence based practice, and quality improvement.
  2. Apply newly learned skills and ideas to nursing research, evidence based practice, or quality improvement projects at the local level.
  3. Describe what the future of nursing could look like with advances in nursing education and nursing practice.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

  • Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 7.00 ANCC contact hours.
  • All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for a maximum of 7.00 hours of education.

Maximum credit amount subject to change based on final activity schedule.

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.
