Overview
Educational seminar for health care professionals on multidisciplinary and interprofessional stroke management, family communication, Intracerebral hemorrhage, and the patient experience.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Review current recommendations for the management of the intracerebral hemorrhagic (ICH) stroke patient
  2. Discuss the use of anticoagulant reversal agents for patients with ICH due to systemic anticoagulation
  3. Review diagnosis and imaging requirements for the hemorrhagic stroke patient
  4. Communicate effectively with the stroke patient and family
  5. Apply new knowledge to case studies presented
  6. Describe the stroke continuum of care from EMS through rehabilitation
  7. Utilize the new emergency department order sets for physician and nursing care appropriately
