We’re excited to have you join us for CPMA’s Annual Symposium! Get together to connect, network, and learn all the latest, exciting news in our industry. We have a variety of sessions to help you gain knowledge, inspire your work, and empower your team to grow and strengthen your practice. A second track for office and medical assistants is also available. After attending our Symposium, you will walk away with a wealth of expertise and connections to enhance the way you approach podiatry and healthcare.

Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Mitigate complications in foot and ankle surgery
  2. Review recommendations to discuss complications with a patient
  3. Apply recommendations for proper documentation and coding
  4. Discuss new technology in wound care treatment, including stages and surgical interventions.
  5. Describe techniques and testing in order to identify and treat particular pathology seen in podiatric practice
  6. MAs ONLY: Complete patient radiologic training as prescribed by current best practices and State of Connecticut DPH requirements
  7. Discuss new artificial intelligence technology and how it can be used in the podiatric office.

Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Hartford HealthCare and Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association.  Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
  • Physicians: Hartford HealthCare designates this Live Activity activity for a maximum of 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
