Macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy are leading causes of blindness of retina diseases. New advances in diagnostic and treatment have developed. This event is designed to educate clinicians regarding latest diagnostic, medical and surgery treatment of ophthalmic and optometric conditions.

1. Describe latest treatments for Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration
2. Recognize the signs of ocular inflammation and different non-steroidal treatment modalities
3. Identify the different unmet needs in the treatment of patients with diabetic retinopathy or diabetic macular edema
4. Distinguish between the clinical findings of advance Dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration for treatment
5. Summarize the biochemical factor that contributes to progression of Dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.75 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (credits designated as AMA PRA Category 1) (1.75 hours)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.
