Objectives
As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Respond effectively to emergency situations within perianesthesia
  2. Improve patient outcomes with an evidence-based medicine approach that utilizes process optimization, health information technology, research, and innovation
  3. Identify opportunities for additional education, multi-specialty or interprofessional collaboration, and quality improvement in the department, hospital, or system

In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 
  • Nurses: This activity is designated for a maximum of 1.00 ANCC contact hours.
  • Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Participation for 1.00 hours of education .  Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.

Cancellations received in writing no less than 5 business days before the course will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after that date.  All refunds will be made in accordance with the procedures of the HHC Accounts Payable Department, and may take up to 60 days.  Please send cancellation requests to continuinged@hhchealth.org.
