This session will provide updates in troponin testing and ranges, protocols to rule out Acute Coronary Syndrome, and additional causes of elevated troponin levels

As a result of participating in this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Define high-sensitivity troponin and the “normal” range
  2. Review the protocols for ruling out Acute Coronary Syndrome
  3. Identify other causes of elevated high-sensitivity troponin T
