Overview
A weekly educational series for cardiac care providers. Current recommended guidelines and evidence based practice as well as new diagnostic and treatment procedures for cardiac conditions will be presented, reviewed, and discussed in order to improve patient outcomes.

Objectives
  1. identify current guidelines in order to provide optimal care to admitted medical and surgical cardiac patients
  2. apply current guidelines in order to provide optimal care to admitted medical and surgical cardiac patients
  3. review current cases in order to choose the most appropriate evidence based recommendations for treatment
  4. identify opportunities for additional education, multispecialty collaboration, and quality improvement in the Heart and Vascular Institute
