In support of improving patient care, Hartford HealthCare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

  3. Identify pain, including a patent's response to pain and strategies to support the dementia patient in pain
  4. Discuss how to ensure patient care remains person-centered, including inclusion, engagement, and autonomy
  5. Provide a safe environment for the dementia patient
  6. Implement non-pharmacological strategies and activities for purposeful engagement
